Hi, and welcome to Bea’s Adventures, where we travel the world together.
I’m Bea, and today we’re going to talk about how lions live during the day in Kenya.
I went to Kenya and met with a guide named Lincoln.
He shared some amazing facts with me.
Lincoln
Lions spend most of their time resting during the day.
They focus on saving energy for hunting at night.
Bea
Isn’t it unbelievable how much they rest?
I learned that lions can sleep up to 16 hours a day.
Lincoln
During the cooler hours, they might play or walk around.
It’s a simple but smart way to stay cool.
Bea
Lions are like the kings of energy saving.
Watching them lie in the sun was quite an experience.
