Bea and Lin are at a bus stop. Bea is looking at her watch.
ビーとリンはバス停にいます。ビーは腕時計を見ています。
Bea: The bus is late. The bus is never late!
ビー：バスが遅れてる。このバスが遅れるなんてありえないのに！
Lin: Maybe the bus doesn’t want to go to a job fair either.
リン：バスも就職フェアには行きたくないのかもね。
Bea: Lin, I planned this perfectly. We need to be there in twenty minutes.
ビー：リン、私は完璧に計画したのよ。あと20分で着かないといけないの。
Lin: Let’s just skip it. There’s a really good taco place near here.
リン：もう行くのやめようよ。この近くにすごくおいしいタコス屋があるし。
Bea: No! This job fair is important. For both of us.
ビー：ダメ！この就職フェアは大事なの。私たち2人にとってね。
A bus arrives, but it is completely full. It drives past them without stopping.
バスがやって来ましたが、満員です。止まることなく通り過ぎてしまいました。
Bea: No, no, no! This can’t be happening!
ビー：うそ、うそ、うそ！こんなの信じられない！
Lin: We could take a taxi.
リン：タクシーで行けばいいんじゃない？
Bea: Do you know how much the fare is from here? I don’t have money for that!
ビー：ここからの料金がいくらするか知ってる？そんなお金ないよ！
Lin: OK. My motorcycle is nearby. It’s at my grandma’s house.
リン：じゃあ、私のバイクが近くにあるよ。おばあちゃんの家に置いてあるんだ。
Bea: I am not getting on that motorcycle.
ビー：そのバイクには乗らないからね。
Lin: It’s the motorcycle or the taco place. Your choice.
リン：バイクかタコス屋か。好きな方を選んで。
Fifteen minutes later, they arrive at the job fair on Lin’s motorcycle. Bea’s hair is a mess.
15分後、2人はリンのバイクで就職フェアに到着しました。ビーの髪はボサボサです。
Bea: We made it! OK, let me fix my hair, and then we can walk around.
ビー：間に合った！よし、髪を整えてから見て回ろう。
Lin: Sure. I’ll wait here with my motorcycle.
リン：もちろん。私はここでバイクと一緒に待ってるね。
A man in a suit walks over to Lin and her motorcycle.
スーツ姿の男性がリンと彼女のバイクのところへ歩いてきました。
Bea: Lin, why is that man giving you his business card?
ビー：リン、どうしてその人は名刺を渡してるの？
Lin: I don’t know. He said he likes my motorcycle. I guess his company needs a mechanic.
リン：さあ。私のバイクが気に入ったって言ってた。たぶん会社で整備士を探してるんじゃないかな。
Bea: You got a job offer? We’ve been here for two minutes!
ビー：もう仕事のオファーをもらったの？まだ来て2分しか経ってないのに！
Lin: Yeah. Do you think they have free sandwiches inside?
リン：うん。それより中で無料のサンドイッチを配ってると思う？
