Yes, snow can hurt your plants.

Let them stay outside in warm weather,
暖かい時期は外で育てて、
but move them in when it’s cold.
寒くなったら室内へ移そう。

Okay, but my patio gets lots of sun in the summer.

No, most plants love sunlight.
大丈夫。ほとんどの植物は日光が大好きだよ。
Use a little extra water to keep them happy when it’s very sunny.
