Well, I was at the gas station on New Year’s Eve.
大みそかにガソリンスタンドへ行った時のことなんだ。

A dog was there and it looked lost.
そこに迷子らしい犬がいたんだよ。

ザリ：
Wow, what did you do?
わあ、それでどうしたの？

アレックス：
I took care of it until I found its owner.
飼い主が見つかるまで、その犬の面倒を見たんだ。

The dog loved playing with toys.
その犬はおもちゃで遊ぶのが大好きだったよ。

ザリ：
That’s so sweet of you.
とても優しいね。

I wish I could meet the dog.
私もその犬に会ってみたかったな。
