Zari finds Lily at her locker after school.
放課後、ザリはロッカーの前にいるリリーを見つけます。
Zari: Lily! Guess what! I’m taking the city bus to the K-pop store across town! By myself!
ザリ：リリー！聞いて！街の反対側にあるK-POPショップまで、市バスで行くの！ひとりでね！
Lily: Okay.
リリー：そう。
Zari: Alone! Solo! For the first time! Aren’t you impressed?
ザリ：ひとりで！ひとりきり！初めてなんだよ！すごいと思わない？
Lily: I mean, people take the bus every day, Zari.
リリー：でも、みんな毎日バスに乗ってるよ、ザリ。
Zari: Well, it’s a big deal for me! How hard can it be?
ザリ：でも私にとっては大事件なの！そんなに難しいことじゃないでしょ？
Lily: Cool. Have fun.
リリー：いいね。楽しんできて。
Zari gets on a bus. After twenty minutes, she looks out the window and frowns.
ザリはバスに乗ります。20分後、窓の外を見て顔をしかめました。
Zari: Excuse me, sir? When is the Maple Street stop?
ザリ：すみません。このバスはメープル通りにはいつ着きますか？
Passenger: Maple Street? This bus doesn’t go to Maple Street. You want the 7. This is the 12.
乗客：メープル通り？このバスはメープル通りには行かないよ。君が乗るべきなのは7番だ。これは12番だよ。
Zari: What?! No no no no no!
ザリ：えっ！？うそ、うそ、うそ、うそ！
Passenger: You can get off at the next stop and catch the 7 going back.
乗客：次の停留所で降りて、戻る7番に乗ればいいよ。
Zari calls Lily.
ザリはリリーに電話をかけます。
Zari: Lily! I got on the wrong bus! I’m lost! I don’t even know where I am!
ザリ：リリー！間違ったバスに乗っちゃった！道に迷った！今どこにいるのかもわからない！
Lily: You’re on the 12, right?
リリー：12番のバスに乗ったんでしょ？
Zari: How did you know that?!
ザリ：どうしてわかったの！？
Lily: Because I watched you get on it from across the street.
リリー：道の向こう側から、あなたがそれに乗るのを見てたから。
Zari: Wait… you followed me?!
ザリ：えっ…私についてきたの！？
Lily: No. I took the correct bus. I’m already at the K-pop store.
リリー：違うよ。私はちゃんと正しいバスに乗ったの。もうK-POPショップに着いてる。
Zari: You… you’re at the K-pop store? You HATE K-pop!
ザリ：えっ…K-POPショップにいるの？あなた、K-POP嫌いだったじゃない！
Lily: I do hate K-pop. And yet here I am, surrounded by posters of boys I don’t know, waiting for you.
リリー：そう、K-POPは嫌い。でも私は今、知らない男の子たちのポスターに囲まれながら、あなたを待ってるの。
Zari: That’s the sweetest thing you’ve ever done!
ザリ：それって今までで一番優しいことじゃない！
Lily: Please don’t make it weird. Just get on the 7.
リリー：変な空気にしないで。とにかく7番のバスに乗ってきて。
