Bea arrives at Lin’s house with a checklist.

Lin is on the couch eating a sandwich.

Lin!
リン!

A huge storm is coming tonight!
今夜、大きな嵐が来るのよ!

We need to prepare right now!

リン:
Yeah, I heard some thunder earlier.
うん、さっき雷の音が聞こえたよ。

It’s fine.
大丈夫よ。

ビー:
It is NOT fine!
大丈夫じゃない!

I made a storm safety checklist.
嵐に備えるための安全チェックリストを作ったの。

First, we close all the windows.
まず、窓を全部閉めるのよ。

リン:
The windows are closed.
窓は閉まってるよ。

It’s cold outside.
外は寒いから。

Very icy.
すごく冷え込んでるし。

ビー:
OK, good.

Next, we need to find the emergency kit I hid here last month.

リン:
You hid an emergency kit in my house?

Thunder shakes the house.

Lin reaches under the couch and pulls out a box.

She opens it and lights a candle.

リン:
You mean this box?

That’s my emergency kit!
それ、私の非常用キット!

How did you find it?!

リン:
I found it in the closet last week.

I moved it under the couch.

The closet was too far away.

ビー:
You moved my carefully organized emergency kit… because you didn’t want to walk to the closet?

リン:
