Oscar is visiting his cousin Orson, an actor, in Hollywood.
Oscar: I’m excited to go to your movie premiere! Look at my new suit!
Orson: We don’t have to wear suits.
Orson: No one will look at us. I’m only in the movie for a few minutes.
Oscar: No! You should wear your best clothes.
Oscar: Then we’ll look like movie stars when the photographers take our photo!
Oscar: Also, I rented a limo for us!
Orson: Oscar, no!
Narrator: Oscar and Orson get in the limo. A mile from the theater, the limo stops.
Driver: Sorry, the traffic is really bad.
Orson: But the premiere starts in twenty minutes!
Oscar: Let’s run!
Narrator: They get out of the limo and step in mud.
Oscar: My shoes!
Narrator: It starts raining.
Oscar: My suit!
Narrator: Oscar and Orson run to the theater.
Narrator: When they arrive, they’re wet and covered in mud.
Narrator: A photographer takes their photo.
Photographer: Wow, you look like you were in a war! Just like characters in the movie!
Orson: Well, Oscar, you wanted us to look like movie stars!

オスカーはハリウッドで俳優をしているいとこのオーソンを訪ねています。
オスカー：君の映画のプレミア上映会に行けるなんて楽しみだよ！ この新しいスーツ見て！
オーソン：スーツなんて着なくていいよ。
オーソン：どうせ誰も僕たちなんて見ないし。映画にも数分しか出てないんだ。
オスカー：ダメだよ！ 一番良い服を着なきゃ。
オスカー：そうすれば、カメラマンに写真を撮られた時に映画スターみたいに見えるだろ！
オスカー：それに、リムジンも借りたんだ！
オーソン：オスカー、やめてくれよ…。
ナレーター：オスカーとオーソンはリムジンに乗ります。しかし劇場まであと1マイルのところで止まってしまいました。
運転手：すみません、ひどい渋滞です。
オーソン：でも上映会まであと20分しかない！
オスカー：走ろう！
ナレーター：ふたりはリムジンを降りますが、泥の中に足を踏み入れてしまいます。
オスカー：僕の靴が！
ナレーター：さらに雨が降り始めます。
オスカー：僕のスーツも！
ナレーター：オスカーとオーソンは劇場まで走ります。
ナレーター：到着した時には、ふたりともびしょ濡れで泥だらけでした。
ナレーター：カメラマンがふたりの写真を撮ります。
カメラマン：うわっ、まるで戦争帰りみたいだ！ 映画の登場人物そっくりだよ！
オーソン：なあオスカー、君は僕たちを映画スターみたいに見せたかったんだろ？
