Vikram is reading in bed. His wife, Priti, is next to him.
Priti: Vikram, I’m tired. Can you turn off the light?
Vikram: I can’t sleep! I need to finish this book!
Priti: A man is on an airplane! He’s traveling to see his wife, but the plane is going to crash!
Vikram: I’ll tell you the ending, but then you have to turn off the light.
Priti: You read this book?
Vikram: Please, tell me the ending!
Priti: The man’s wife is really a ghost. He dies — and now they can be together.
Vikram: That’s strange. But now I can turn off the light.
The next morning, Vikram talks to Priti about the book again.
Vikram: That ending was surprising!
Priti: Vikram… I lied about the ending.
Vikram: What?!
Priti: I never read that book. I just wanted you to turn off the light.
