Vikram is sitting at a table in his café, surrounded by printed papers and his laptop. Lin walks in for her shift.
ヴィクラムはカフェのテーブルに座り、印刷した書類とノートパソコンに囲まれています。リンが仕事にやって来ました。
Lin: Hey Vikram. What’s all this?
リン：ねえ、ヴィクラム。これは全部何？
Vikram: I’m setting up online ordering for the café! Customers can order from their phone and pick it up here.
ヴィクラム：カフェのオンライン注文を設定しているんだ！お客さんはスマホで注文して、ここで受け取れるようになるんだよ。
Lin: Cool. How long have you been working on this?
リン：いいね。どれくらい前から作業してるの？
Vikram: Since six this morning.
ヴィクラム：今朝6時からだよ。
Lin: Vikram, it’s noon.
リン：ヴィクラム、もうお昼だよ。
Vikram: I know! There are so many steps. I have to enter our location, choose a payment method, set the prices for every item…
ヴィクラム：分かってる！手順が多すぎるんだ。店舗情報を入力して、支払い方法を選んで、全部の商品の価格を設定して……。
Lin: Can I see?
リン：ちょっと見せて。
Lin sits down and looks at the screen. She clicks through a few pages.
リンは座って画面を見始め、いくつかのページをクリックしていきます。
Lin: Vikram, you’ve been filling out the wrong form. This one is for restaurants with five or more locations.
リン：ヴィクラム、間違ったフォームを入力してるよ。これは5店舗以上あるレストラン向けのもの。
Vikram: Oh no.
ヴィクラム：そんな……。
Lin clicks back to the beginning and starts over. Within minutes, she’s entering the final details.
リンは最初の画面に戻ってやり直し、数分で最後の設定まで終えました。
Lin: OK. Done. Your café is online.
リン：はい、終わり。これでカフェのオンライン注文が使えるよ。
Vikram: Already? Lin, you’re amazing! Thank you so much!
ヴィクラム：もう！？リン、本当にすごいよ！ありがとう！
Vikram’s phone buzzes. He looks at it and gasps.
ヴィクラムのスマホが鳴りました。画面を見ると驚きます。
Vikram: We got our first order! One turkey and avocado sandwich… total zero dollars?
ヴィクラム：最初の注文が入った！ターキーとアボカドのサンドイッチが1つ……合計0ドル！？
Lin: Oh wow, that’s me. I put in an employee discount to test the system.
リン：あ、それ私。システムを試すために従業員割引を入れたの。
Vikram: A one hundred percent discount?
ヴィクラム：100％割引にしたの？
Lin: Yeah, you should probably fix that. But first, can you make my sandwich? The customer is waiting.
リン：うん、それはたぶん直したほうがいいね。でもその前に私のサンドイッチ作ってくれる？お客さんが待ってるから。
Vikram: Lin…
ヴィクラム：リン……。
Lin: What? I’m the reason you have an online ordering system. I deserve a sandwich.
リン：なによ？オンライン注文システムが使えるようになったのは私のおかげなんだから、サンドイッチくらいもらって当然でしょ。
Vikram: Fine. But I’m fixing that discount right after.
ヴィクラム：分かったよ。でもその割引はすぐ直すからね。
Lin: No rush.
リン：急がなくていいよ。
